CSFD Chipping Dates

Good Day All,

Colorado Springs Fire Department has our neighborhood scheduled for chipping to start on August 31, 2026. I believe that if you would like to have piles chipped you should register with the fire department a week in advance. Please adhere to the guidelines, 5x5x5 piles. At least 5 feet from roadway, and larger end toward the street.

Neighborhood reminder

Hello neighbors!

This is a friendly reminder about our annual volunteer dues for the Rustic Hills Improvement Association. We've observed that a few payments of $50.00 for the year are still outstanding.

These voluntary contributions are incredibly important for funding our community events and essential services, which help make Rustic Hills Acres a wonderful place for all of us to live. Your participation is deeply appreciated.

You can submit your payment online via KINDHOA, mail it to PO Box 75074, Colorado Springs, CO 80970, or bring it with you to our community picnic on September 12, 2026, starting at 11:00 am.

Rustic Hills Trash Coalition: Neighborhood Bin Cleaning Day!

Tired of dealing with dirty, smelly trash cans? Tom’s grandkids are taking on the dirty work as a work project to get our neighborhood bins sparkling clean!

This Wednesday, August 12th, right after trash and recycling pickup, they will pick up, pressure wash, deodorize, and return your bins clean and fresh—no mess required.

Service & Pricing

Blue 96-Gallon Tote: $20

Orange Recycle Tote: $10

What’s Treated: Full pressure-washing and deodorizing to clear out grime, stuck-on waste, odors, bacteria, flies, and mildew.
